Visited early afternoon during the week and came away a little disappointed. There were a few people in, all seemed to be known to each other, it was quiet, maybe a bit cliquey. Beer (Millstone's Tiger Rut) was too cold and the toilets were stinking. We weren't expecting luxury but this was beyond shabby. Sorry but won't be going back.

What a dump! Crap beers and the toilets are a disgrace. Can't deny the atmosphere though. Just goes to show what people will put up with for a night out!

Amazing vibe, such good staff and a relaxing pub to have drinks in. Izzy, Sophie and Tommy were the best. will definitely come back

I used to love this boozer great place for an authentic tipple, juke box loaded with tunes etc. unfortunately the bar staff let this gaff down, rude, ignorant and the young lady serving us actually slammed our drinks on the bar spilling our Guinness which is a sin as far as I’m concerned. I won’t be back that’s for sure!

Beautiful pub both internally and externally, gets very busy even on weeknights. However the quality of the beer has gone right down, very disappointing - I think this place relies a bit too much on its appearance and not the quality of the drinks.
Very watery and bitter tasting Guinness, pint of ale was flat and tasted like dirty lines.
Really hope management sees this and improves.

Proper old fashioned pub with seperate drinking rooms, beautiful architecture and unique shaped building amongst souless skyscapers, a rose amonst throns. Great mix of folk from mods to old regulars. Great vibe with a juke box and pool table. Smelly loos, walked in on someone... had to leave.

A really nice "Old fashioned" Pub with lots of character. The staff there were really nice. The pub also gad a good range of beers to sample.

Very unusual bar. Worth a stop if you're in the area but beware it's pretty cramped.
